
What is a Top Castle Bouncy Castle?
At Top Castle, we understand the challenge of finding unique and treat for kids parties. Our bouncy
castles offer a cost-effective and fun way to entertain children for hours.
What sort of events do you cater for?
Yes, we provide same-day delivery, setup, and pickup. A delivery fee may apply in some areas. It is the hirer's
responsibility to ensure the castle is clean before pickup, including wiping the inside with a damp cloth if needed. We do not leave castles overnight without a bond being paid.
Do you hire out bouncy castles during school holidays and weekdays?
Yes, we are flexible. Please email or call us to discuss your specific requirements.
Do you deliver, set up, and pack up the castles?
What do we need to set up a bouncy castle?
A preferably flat grassy area within 20 meters of a power source.
Clear space of approximately 1-2 meters around and above the castle.
The castle must not be used in wet or windy weather.
Castles can be used indoors on carpet if there is enough space.
Concrete surfaces are not recommended unless additional carpet or matting is provided for safety
around the slide. We will provide a small landing mat but recommend extra matting for concrete hires.Please inform us of any stairs or potential access issues as some castles are heavy and may require a trolley.
Setup usually takes about 10-15 minutes, and takedown is about the same.
We mainly cater to small parties, smaller community events, galas, and church fairs.
What ages can use your castles?
Generally, our castles are suitable for children aged 2-8 years. Extreme care is recommended when various
ages use the castle, as bigger kids can be more boisterous. Ideally, users should be of similar ages for safety.
We do not recommend bouncy castles for children under 2, but fully supervised groups of 2–3-year-olds can
still have a great time.
What are your payment terms?
We accept cash on the day or direct credits prior to the booking.
What happens if there is bad weather?
Bookings may be cancelled or postponed up to one hour before the event due to bad weather. Any deposit
will be carried over to another date or refunded. We reserve the right to cancel due to wind, rain, or an
adverse setup area, with deposits transferred to another date or refunded. We typically call in the morning for
a weather check. If bad weather affects your booking after setup, the full rental fee still applies. However, we
will provide a discount on your next booking.
What if I cancel for any reason other than weather?
Cancellations not related to weather must be made at least 5 days before the event.
What do we do when we are finished with the castle?
We will arrange a suitable pickup time based on your specified hire period. Please ensure the castle is clean
and tidy and turn off the blower to allow the castle to deflate before we pack it up. Wiping down with a damp
cloth may be necessary.
What about supervision?
Safety is our utmost concern. An adult over 18 years must always supervise the castle. Children should not run
around near the fan blower or power source. Special care is needed when bigger and smaller kids use the
castle simultaneously.
Where can you provide bouncy castles and services?
We cover the Hutt Valley, Wellington, Upper Hutt, Lower Hutt, and Porirua areas.
